Prices of vignettes for the Czech Republic depend on the length of time you use the highways or expressways in the country. Moreover, the type of fuel your vehicle uses is also a factor. If your vehicle runs on biogas or natural gas, the cost of the vignette is lower than for gasoline or diesel vehicles.
You can postpone the start of validity of all types of vignettes for up to 30 days when you buy them.

FAQs
Where can you buy the vignette for the Czech Republic?
There are multiple options available for purchasing Czech vignettes. A vignette can be purchased online directly from our website. Alternatively, you can find vignettes at various Czech sales points, including gas stations near the Czech border crossings or along major roads across the country.
How long is the Czech vignette valid for?
Depending on your journey, you can choose an e-vignette for different periods, ranging from a 1-day vignette to an annual vignette. The Czech Republic digital vignette can be purchased as: 1- day vignette for short-term visitors or transits. 10-day vignette is valid for ten consecutive calendar days. 30-day vignette valid for thirty consecutive days and 1-year vignette for 1-year validity.
How far can you drive in the Czech Republic without a vignette?
The Czech Republic has a mandatory vignette system for road use. If you plan to drive motorways or expressways, you have to purchase a vignette before entering toll sections to avoid violations, fines, and other problems during your journey. Please note that motorcycles, tricycles, or trailers used on highways are not required to have a highway vignette. In addition, certain types of vehicles, such as electric cars, vehicles powered by hydrogen, and plug-in hybrid vehicles with CO2 emissions up to 50 g/km, are exempt from the vignette requirement starting from 2021. However, vehicles registered outside the Czech Republic regardless of their exemption status, must register their vehicle registration number and the country of registration on the official website.
What happens if you don't have a vignette in the Czech Republic?
Violations of the toll requirement may result in fines, and driving without a valid vignette on expressways in the Czech Republic can lead to legal consequences. The fine can be up to 5000 Czech crowns or 200 euros.
What types of vignettes are there?
Starting from January 2021, adhesive vignettes are no longer valid in the Czech Republic. If you drive a motor vehicle with at least four wheels and a maximum weight of 3.5 tons, or a motorhome weighing up to 3.5 tons, you will need an electronic vignette. There are four types of electronic vignettes available. These include a 1-year e-vignette, a 30-day e-vignette, 10-day e-vignette and a 1-day vignette.
Do I have to have proof of purchase of the vignette with me?
Simply having a PDF of your Czech e-vignette on your mobile device is sufficient for your journey. The electronic form of the vignette you purchase from our website does not need to be printed as the license plate numbers are stored in the online system.
